Your PADI Certification class begins with you completing the training materials
at home. Your choices of the required training materials, are: Books &
DVDs ($120), or DVD ROM ($100).

Our certification program is the latest
available from PADI. You will become certified using a dive computer. This
method of instruction is easier and results in shorter class times allowing
more time for pool instruction. It also helps to increase student success
rates, keeps tuition costs down, and can help make your dives longer and
safer.

2. POOL
|
Next comes a 1-day or 2-day
Pool session. Please make your reservation as soon as you are able to
commit to your choice of dates (below). You will need: Snorkeling Equipment
(Mask, Snorkel, Fins (and Boots and Gloves if you will be doing your Ocean
Dives locally). In addition to your own snorkeling equipment we
recommend you purchase a Dive Computer to use during your training. |

To finish your certification
you will make 4 training dives. We offer training dives as Beach Dives
on the North Coast, Lake Tahoe, and Monterey; as
Boat Dives
out of Santa Barbara off the Channel Islands (Boat fees extra, includes food
& lodging); or on most of our
Tropical Dive Vacations. |
